About CJON

The Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing (CJON) is an official publication of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and is directed to the practicing nurse specializing in the care of patients with an actual or potential diagnosis of cancer. CJON is a vehicle to promote the mission of ONS, which is to advance excellence in oncology nursing and quality cancer care. The CJON mission is to publish clinically relevant, evidence-based content for oncology nurses in diverse roles and practice settings to use when caring for those affected by cancer.

Supplements: Proposals for technical supplements containing four to six articles are welcome. The editor must approve all supplements in concept. Manuscripts must be submitted in accordance with author guidelines, comply with authorship requirements, and be accompanied by appropriate financial disclosure. Once submitted, manuscripts undergo the standard peer-review process. Proposals should be submitted to pubCJON@ons.org.

Complimentary Copies: Corresponding authors receive one complimentary copy of the issue in which their article appears for each of the authors and a PDF of the article. If the authors are ONS members, they also will receive a copy in the mail as part of their regular membership benefits. Those interested in permission to photocopy their own article should contact pubpermissions@ons.org. Those who would like to purchase additional copies of the full journal should contact help@ons.org or call 866-257-4ONS (toll-free).
Claims Policy: Claims for missing issues must be filed within 45 days for domestic recipients and 60 days for international recipients. If claims are submitted outside of the designated period, replacement issues can be purchased for $10 for domestic subscribers and $25 for international subscribers plus postage. ONS reserves the right to review and approve all claim requests. ONS is unable to extend or refund part of a subscription for a missing issue.
